PRICING FAQS
What happens if I go over my request limit?
On Free, requests pause until the next cycle. On Team, overage is metered at a published per-request rate. Nothing gets shut off mid-conversation and there are no surprise invoices.
Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?
Yes. Changes apply at the next billing cycle, and upgrades take effect immediately. Your sources, keys, and traces carry over unchanged.
Do failed requests count against my usage?
No. A request that returns an error from Switchyard is not billed. A request that succeeds but returns an empty result is billed, because the work of discovery still ran.
Is self-hosting available on Team?
No. Self-hosting is an Enterprise deployment option. Cloud and self-hosted run the same API and SDKs, so you can start on Team cloud and move later without rewriting anything.
