Terms of service
Sample text for a fictional company. Replace these terms with your own before launch.
The agreement
These terms cover your use of Switchyard, including the website, dashboard, API and SDKs. By creating an account, you accept them on behalf of your organization.
Your account
You are responsible for your API keys and for everything done with them. Keep keys secret, rotate them when people leave, and tell us right away if you think one has leaked.
Acceptable use
Do not use Switchyard to break the law, to reach systems you are not authorized to access, or to send spam or malware. Do not probe, overload or reverse engineer the service.
We may suspend an account that puts the service or other customers at risk, and we will tell you why.
Your data
You own the data you send through Switchyard. You give us permission to process it only to run the service for you. Our privacy policy explains how we handle it.
Plans and billing
Paid plans renew monthly or yearly until you cancel. Usage above your plan is billed at the rates on our pricing page. Fees are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise.
Availability
We work to keep the service available, but we cannot promise it will never go down. Enterprise plans include a written uptime commitment with service credits.
Liability
Switchyard is provided as is. As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time from the dashboard. We can end these terms with 30 days notice, or right away if you seriously breach them. Either way, you can export your data for 30 days after closing.
